RGT (Revenue Generating Treasury)

Purpose

The RGT, the dynamic engine of Blob DAO, its primary objective is the creation of steady, passive income. Even with modest, low double digit, annual yields, the power of compounding will cause our Treasury balance to grow exponentially over time. BlobDAO's main value proposition is it's revenue streams - because of this revenue the Blob ecosystem has inherent value, akin to a share of a stock in traditional markets.

Treasury Management

The management of our treasury is a strategic task, treated with utmost diligence and responsibility. We will slowly build our treasury team and they will constantly delve into thorough research, identifying and proposing the most lucrative opportunities that align with our community's goals. The course of our actions is ultimately determined by the community’s consensus, ensuring that every step we take is in unison, and in the best interests of all.

RGT Revenue Share

50% of the monthly revenue generated by the treasury is distributed to Blob Share holders. The remaining 50% is left in the treasury to earn a stable yield and compound over time. Further increasing the monthly revenue.

Blob holders who stake their BLOB tokens receive BLOBs, which serves as the governance token of the DAO. This means that by staking BLOB and participating in governance with BLOBs, holders not only have a say in the ecosystem's future developments but also receive a yield on their Blob tokens. Offering an added incentive for participation in the platform's governance.

Defi Venture Studio

A DeFi venture studio streamlines the process of launching and scaling defi/web3 projects. Blob DAO seeks to fuel the creation of robust passive income tools and sub-DAOs. We're democratizing access to lucrative opportunities.

Example of how this will work: Imagine there is a proposal to build and launch a liquid staking project and it is approved.

$200,000 cost to BlobDAO to build and launch the liquid staking project. Blobdao gets 10% of the project’s supply as treasury holdings. The liquid staking project will give all earned profit to BlobDAO until $300,000 is paid back. After the initial debt is paid, 10% of all profit is indefinitely paid to the BlobDAO treasury as a royalty.
